Staring Down the Barrel of a 45

In order to celebrate FullMetal Alchemist Day, I thought I'd bring back my Riza Hawkeye cosplay. I've been at least two years since this thing has been used or even brought out of the closet. I forgot how much I missed this cosplay. I can't believe it still fits! It's a bit loose from my having to slim down for my Yami Yugi cosplay, but man.. I missed this thing!
For those of you that don't know what FullMetal Alchemist Day is, I found a little snippet: "Oct 3, 10 is an important day in Fullmetal Alchemist lore (10/3/11 in FMA: Brotherhood). This date, inscribed inside of Edward’s pocket watch as “Don’t Forget 3.Oct.10,” marks the moment when the Elric brothers set their childhood home ablaze, vowing to never turn back. We want to officially recognize October 3 as FMA Day, giving fans of the series a day to reflect on what FMA means to them. Some may see it as a solemn day commemorating the trials faced by the Elrics' in their quest to become whole again. Others will think of it as a celebration, honoring the brothers’ determination in the face of adversity. And others still will remember those rowdy Risembool Rangers. When did you first see Fullmetal Alchemist? What about FMA has inspired you? What has given you pause? How will you observe FMA Day?"
Also, a little fun fact... If you look at the setting of both FMA animes, it looks very similar to the town my family is from, in Germany. Karlsruhe to be exact. It's horrifyingly accurate, even down to the shape of buildings and layout of streets. But the 3rd of October is known as "German Unity Day". The reunification of East and West Germany after the wall fell. Pretty interesting if you ask me.
